MY STORY

Shalom! My name is Krystan Hall. I am native to the rolling hills of Tennessee. I am a local doula and photographer.

From the time I was little, my heart has been pulled towards birth. When I was 15 years old, I witnessed my sister give birth to the most beautiful little girl I had ever seen, and I was hooked.

Since then, I have married and have had two children of my own, Oliver and Elliott. After the traumatic birth of my first child, Oliver, I was determined that should I be blessed enough to have another child, my next childbirth experience would be one where I felt empowered, and the memory of the day would be full of peace and happiness, as it was designed to be.

On March 3, 2017, 3 days shy of Oliver’s 3rd birthday, I found out I was pregnant. Before I even let my husband know our exciting news, I hired a birth photographer and scheduled an appointment at Baby+Co, a local birthing center. I knew this birth would be different. I thoroughly researched how to achieve a natural birth and started mentally preparing right away.

On November 19, a full 11 days ‘overdue’, my precious Elliott arrived. I had it. I had my very healing and very perfect birthing experience. Within a month of his birth, I knew the time had arrived for me to begin the process of doing exactly what I’d been called to do, where my heart has been drawn to all my life; I was born to help women become empowered in labor and delivery. Birth is beautiful in every shape and every form, and my goal is to help women become the mothers they were designed to be.

No matter how you choose to birth, or how birth happens, becoming a mom is the greatest joy one can experience. I wish nothing but peace, happiness, and health to you and your new baby. Should you choose me to assist you on this wonderful day, I would consider it to be an honor.
